A Flood Warning has been issued for the following rivers: Des Plaines River.
For the Des Plaines River, including Russell, minor flooding is forecast.

The Flood Warning is in effect from early Monday morning through Thursday morning. Minor flooding is forecast. At 6:00 PM Saturday, the stage was 6.4 ft. Flood stage is 7 ft.
The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by early Monday morning and continue to rise to near 7.1 ft by Monday evening. The river will fall below flood stage by Thursday morning.
At 7 ft, water flows into surrounding farm and marsh land near the river.
