Trouble For The East Coast?
At the last update on Felix, I mentioned to keep one eye open in the southwest Atlantic. I was just about ready to give up on this system. Then overnight, the development had begun. I expect a Tropical Depression later today and Gabrielle on Saturday, Category 1 on Sunday and Category 2 on Monday. Category 2? It’s certaintly possible. Just where it’s going to go is still in question but my bet is North Carolina to Boston. By the way, keep the other eye on the Gulf of Mexico this weekend. There is some fooling around going on with an area of clouds, and it’s beginning to look interesting.
