Severe Weather Outlook 8 PM
Tornado Watch is in effect for Walworth, Kane and McHenry counties until midnight. Current radar indicates that stroms are moving NNE at about 35. This would put the bulk of the storms into Lake county at about 9:30-10:00 PM. There are a few storms developing in Ogle, Lee and DeLakb counties but these should stay west of the area. We can’t rule out rouge storms before the bulk of the weather gets here. At 10 PM, dynamics for severe weather will begin to diminish, so am not looking for a break out of weather. But continue to be aware that severe weather can occur near the watch area.
There are currently 3 counties in Tornado warnings in SW Wisconsin and some severe t-storm warnings in west central Illinois.
