Fox River Discussion For NW Lake County 9PM
Wednesday, February 28th, 2007Current Fox River status at New Munster, Wisconsin is 8.7′. This is 1.3′ below flood stage. River is expected to rise at New Munster above 10.0′ flood stage by 7PM Friday. River will peak at 10.9′, 0.9′ above flood stage at 6AM Sunday before lowereing below flood stage at 7PM Tuesday. Current belief is that the Fox River will rise in NW Lake county to at or slightly above action stage. Action stage is about 0.5′ below flood stage. Take necessary precautions over the next 5 days in case river levels rise unexpectedly.
