Lake County SKYWARN Severe Weather Outlook
8:15 AM Tuesday May 21, 2013

Day One - Tuesday
...Severe Weather Risk...10%....24 HR ET 0.26"...May ET 3.30"...May Net(- 2.08")...May Sun 68%...Soil Temp 3/6/12/20" 64/64/60/56...Rainfall Factor 1.18(+0.21)...Well, in the end, the severe weather did indeed stay south of the area. But not by much. The SE 1/4 of the county picked up over 0.50" of welcome rain. All NWS radar feeds are online this morning. Last night a system problem had all feeds to subscribers down for a period right around the time of the severe weather. A few were working sporadically and we were able to track our storms from the Michell Fields terminal doppler. Radars were all working at the NWS offices. It was the feed outside which had the problem. Today, we will return to the 80's. Mostly low 80's. We are under the upper air flow today and this will likely keep the severe weather east of the county. Have left a 10% chance as a chicken factor. There could be a few t-storms this afternoon but the bulk of the rain will hold off until later tonight.

Days Two Through Seven - Wednesday Through Monday
Severe Weather Risk...None...Occasional showers and t-storms Wednesday with a chance of showers Thursday. Chance of showers and possible t-storms for Saturday into Monday. Cooler Wednesday. Much cooler Thursday into Saturday. A little warmer Sunday and Monday. Wednesday 71W/63E/57; Thursday 57/48: Friday 63W/55E/45; Saturday 64W/55E/45; Sunday 68W/58E/48; Monday 66/50

Spotter Activation Outlook
